Legacy Farms – So Many Choices!
Legacy Farms is located a few miles south of Lebanon on Hwy 231. It was formally called Cedavine Manor, but recently changed hands and this is the first wedding I’ve officiated out there. It is definetly new and improved. They have upgraded much of the place, and there are many, many options for wedding ceremony and reception set-ups. Below are a few pictures from the Legacy Farms wedding on Saturday.
First, here’s a view of the reception area. Much brighter, open and more usable than it was. It’s really large and as you can see beautiful.

Take a look at the picture below from a wedding this past weekend at Historic Cedarwood in Nashville. The bride and groom are photographers, as well as the brides parents. I think there were around 20 photographers.

Rock Castle Historic Home in Hendersonville Beautiful Nashville Area Wedding Site
You don’t have to drive far out of Nashville to the north side to find Historic Rock Castle situated on Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville. This historical site has long been used for weddings, but since Miranda Lambert did her video White Liar there, it has gotten additional publicity and some who never knew it existed before, found a nice wedding location.
A wedding in front of the home of the pioneer General Daniel Smith is quite nice, though some couples like the idea of setting up the ceremony site to one side of the house to give a better view of the lake. Even on a warm day, a cool breeze can come from the lake to help cool the guests down. Read the rest of this entry »
