Legacy Farms – So Many Choices!

Legacy Farms is located a few miles south of Lebanon on Hwy 231. It was formally called Cedavine Manor, but recently changed hands and this is the first wedding I’ve officiated out there. It is definetly new and improved. They have upgraded much of the place, and there are many, many options for wedding ceremony and reception set-ups. Below are a few pictures from the Legacy Farms wedding on Saturday.

First, here’s a view of the reception area. Much brighter, open and more usable than it was. It’s really large and as you can see beautiful.

Here’s the set up for the wedding ceremony with stained glass panels for a background. This is area sits between the manor and the reception facility, but there are other options for ceremony sites on the property including indoors.

The Little Country Church Wedding

It’s hard to beat the little country church for a wedding. The one pictured below is the United Methodist Church in Thompson Station, TN. One nice touch is at the end of the ceremony, as the couple exits, a man pulls a long rope ringing the church bell.

I always enjoy seeing these “don’t take sides” signs. It has become common, except for parents and grandparents, not to have a bride’s side and a groom’s side.

And I always look for the groom’s cake. They are creative. Can’t remember seeing a turtle groom’s cake before:

Is This the Most Photgraphed Wedding in Nashville Ever?

Take a look at the picture below from a wedding this past weekend at Historic Cedarwood in Nashville. The bride and groom are photographers, as well as the brides parents. I think there were around 20 photographers.

1800′s King’s Chapel Just Outside Franklin for Nashville Weddings

If you are looking for a quaint yet fanciful wedding chapel you have found just that at Kings’ Chapel.

Situated in a very convenient location just south of Nashville minutes from Brentwood and Franklin in Arrington, TN. Kings’ Chapel, originally built in 1804, has been restored to mirror its original state and is the perfect Historic Award Winning wedding venue.

Kings’ Chapel can seat up to 170 people. Within walking distance of the Chapel is the European styled Clubhouse ideal for receptions. Inside the clubhouse you will find a walnut trimmed ballroom and chef’s kitchen.

Located at the entrance to the Clubhouse is an expansive resort-style mineral pool with adjacent stylish cabana.

Tent set up is permitted. We do have a limited number of tables and chairs that are included, as well as a preferred vendor list, but clients are allowed to select their own vendors if they wish with current licenses and insurance.
