The wedding minister is certainly not the most important person at the wedding but they are necessary. And it is a very important decision. The wedding officiant can make or break the wedding ceremony. We have heard many stories from couples about weddings they have attended where the officiant did not do very good job. They called the couple by the wrong name or they went off on some tangent and started telling jokes or even getting into political commentary.
One way to avoid getting called up and that kind of a wedding disaster is to use an experienced wedding officiant who performs wedding ceremonies as their main life’s work. These are real ministers who have acquired degrees in Bible study and who have served four years with local churches in ministerial roles and have simply shifted to focusing on marriages and weddings.
