According to tradition, a wedding is planned by the bride and paid for by the bride’s parents. However, this is no longer the case for many of today’s couples. Some parents simply cannot afford spending on a wedding. In addition, as some couples are choosing to marry at a later age, it’s possible that the bride or groom’s parents have passed away.
